From the north:
M1 or M6
Take the A14 exit (J19) (Kettering), where the motorways join.
Leave the A14 at Junction 1, signed for Leicester and the
A5199. Take the A5199 south, towards Northampton, for 5 miles,
through Thornby to Creaton. Highgate House is just off the
A5199, on your left as you start to leave Creaton, turn left
into Grooms Lane, following signs to Highgate House reception
and car park.
From the east:
A14
Take the A14 towards the M1. Leave the A14 at Junction 1,
signed for Leicester and the A5199, and then head south
(signposted 'Northampton') , following the directions given
above.
From the south:
M1
Leave the M1 at Junction 16 and follow the A45 towards
Northampton. At the first roundabout (2 miles from the
motorway) take the left turning towards New Duston. Follow
this road (going straight on at the mini roundabout) for about
1.75 miles until you reach a T junction. Turn left followed
100 yards later by a right turn. This will take you to another
T where you again turn left. After 1mile, in Harlestone, take
the right turn towards the Bramptons, with a sign saying
Holdenby House Gardens. Continue for 2 miles, pass through
Church Brampton and follow the one-way system round to the
left. Turn left onto the A5199 and drive for 3 miles, passing
through Spratton. As you come into Creaton, turn right into
Grooms Lane, following signs to Highgate House reception and
car park.
From the west:
Take the A43 towards Northampton, Join the M1 Northbound at
junction 15a and proceed about 2 miles to junction 16. Exit M1
at junction 16 and follow the instructions above.
Alternatively, before it merges into the M1 South, the M6
joins the A14 so you can take this option and follow
instructions From the north above. From the south west it is
possible to use the M5 (North), M42 and M6 (South) to get to
the A14 and, subsequently, Highgate House.
By Rail or Air
Highgate House is well served by fast rail services to
Northampton, only 20 minutes drive by taxi, and Rugby, 25
minutes away. Journey time from London (Euston) to Northampton
is just 60 minutes and there are also direct services from
Birmingham and Milton Keynes.
Highgate House is 40 minutes drive from Birmingham
International Airport and roughly 90 minutes from Heathrow.
